Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie attended the closing ceremony of the Meeting "Argentina 2030 - Israel 2048: Two countries planning for the future" alongside the Secretary for Inter-ministerial Coordination of the Office of the Chief of Cabinet of Ministers, Mario Quintana, and the Israeli Ambassador to Argentina, Ilan Sztulman. The event, which began this morning, was intended to strengthen bilateral cooperation and was attended by experts, business owners, academics and authorities from provincial and local governments.
Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie received the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Ivica Dacic.
Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie, alongside his Paraguayan and Uruguayan counterparts and the heads of the Football Associations of the three countries, signed a Memorandum on a joint bid to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup. Faurie stated that "this discussion began in Buenos Aires some weeks ago, when President Macri received his counterparts, Horacio Cartes and Tabaré Vázquez. Soon afterwards, the Paraguayan authorities convened this further meeting, for which we are grateful".

Today, Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie met in Paris with the Director of the International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP) of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Ms. Suzanne Grant Lewis.

Today, Argentina was elected as host country of the International Expo 2023 by the Bureau International des Expositions, over Poland and the United States.
